From a young age, I've been drawn to service and support, inspired by my mother's commitment
as an NYPD officer and the legacy of my father's community engagement as a congressman and
state office candidate. My journey began as a boy grappling with the loss of my father to cancer,
a formative experience that sparked my desire to guide and support those navigating life's
turbulent waters.

My diverse background includes serving as a U.S. Army Infantryman, engaging in social work,
and delving into mental health and criminal justice. As a proud graduate of the University of
Phoenix with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and Corrections, I am now furthering my
expertise by pursuing a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling/Counselor, with an
anticipated graduation date in 2024.

Professionally, my roles have been varied yet deeply interconnected. My tenure as a CPS
Conservatorship Caseworker at the Texas Department of Family and Protective where I worked
passionately worked to ensure the safety and well-being of children and families in crisis.
Additionally, my contributions as an ABA Therapist and Juvenile Officer in Travis County have
allowed me to make meaningful impacts within the justice system.

Empathy grows not just from our successes, but also from the shadows we've navigated. For thirty years, I wrestled with a mental health issue, a journey that deepened my understanding of the human spirit and the battles we silently fight. This personal experience, coupled with my professional background, enables me to connect on a profound level with those I serve.
