I've always wanted to make a difference, which led me to a long and fulfilling career in Human Resources, and more recently to my new calling as a faith-based counselor. My focus is on helping individuals involved in all walks of life including adolescents, young adults, adults, missionaries, ministers, pastors and their family members in dealing with life’s day-to-day and more complex issues such as anger, anxiety, depression, stress management, post-traumatic stress disorder, and substance use.

I firmly believe that healing comes from within, which is strengthened by a willingness to lean into God and an openness to collaboration. With the understanding that each person has their own set of challenges, I use a variety of techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy. I also utilize spiritual and practical principles from the Bible to help individuals find hope and healing.

I earned my Bachelors of Science degree in Political Science from Tarleton State University in 2005. I have completed my practicum hours at Anchored and graduated from Harrison Graduate School at Southwest Assemblies of God University in July 2023 and am in the process of obtaining my professional license.

I look forward to meeting you and working with you on your journey. With focus and faith, each of us can fulfill our true potential and become amazing people.
