After spending many years in Human Resources, I came to the counseling field later in life. I am a faith based counselor who believes healing comes from within and individuals determine the best path towards personal healing. This is accomplished by creating a collaborative environment and developing individualized action plans. I am a firm believer we are all captains of our own ship and with the right assistance from others and God we can fulfill our potential and become amazing people.
I earned my Bachelor’s of Science degree in Political Science from Tarleton State University and am currently in the process of completing my Masters in Clinical Mental Health at Southwestern Assemblies of God University.
My services focus on individuals involved in the motorcycle community, missionaries, ministers, pastors and their family members, as well as adolescents and adults dealing with life’s day-to-day and more complex issues such as anxiety, depression, stress management, and post-traumatic stress disorder. I also help with employment and mediation related issues.
“Two are better than one, Because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, one will lift up his companion…” Ecclesiates 4:9-10.
