Collaborative Approach to
STEVEN D. LEE
Licensed Professional Counselor Associate

I offer a safe space for those feeling stuck, misunderstood, abused, ignored, or facing emotional or physical challenges.
I bring a wealth of experience from my work with abused youth, community volunteering, and grief counseling.
My ideal client may be resistant to starting therapy, whether because they have been misunderstood, ignored, have a hard time trusting, are individualists and perfectionists, or have financial, physical, mental, or emotional challenges. This may include the neurodiverse, the marginalized, LGBTQ+ individuals, or those with grief, depression, Bipolar diagnosis, or someone who feels that something just feels wrong.
I bring my experience with medical and emotional trauma, grief, and depression, and I provide clients a safe, secure, consistent, empathetic, and understanding space for them to share their problems.
My approach is centered on listening and understanding, facilitating your journey toward self-discovery and personal growth, because I believe in your ability to change and thrive. We'll explore what’s holding you back and build a path forward that fits your needs. I will help you reframe negative thoughts, process difficult experiences, and recognize your strengths. Whether through storytelling, skill-building, or simply having a safe space to be heard, we’ll work on strategies that make life feel more manageable and more hopeful.
