Jennifer is a licensed professional counselor and head trauma specialist completing her provisional license hours as an LPC-Associate. Her educational background in health psychology and performance counseling create a unique approach to a wide variety of support and therapy techniques.
Jennifer holds a Masters in Counseling from St. Edwards University and an undergraduate degree in psychology and kinesiology from Southwestern University. While completing her bachelor’s degree, Jennifer interned at The University of Texas Sport Psychology Research Lab where her areas of research included physical activity and academic performance, stress and health behaviors, training environment, and team-coach dynamics. As a graduate student she worked as a therapist at Austin State Hospital's Specialty Psychiatric unit. Following graduation Jennifer worked in a private practice with clients and athletes recovering from traumatic brain injuries.
